As solutions for large enterprises grow, small and home-based businesses risk being left behind in the digital era.

Project Mission & Goals

Bizinc emerged as a solution to this challenge—an all-in-one SaaS platform designed to empower small and home-based businesses with user-friendly tools for managing operations, marketing, and growth, enabling them to thrive in the digital era.

My goal at Bizinc as a UI/UX design intern was to enhance the user experience of Bizinc 2.0 to support these small businesses, which often lack digital resources. By applying user-centered design thinking, conducting testing, and collaborating with fellow designers and developers, we developed intuitive tools to help these businesses succeed in a competitive industry
and scale the product globally.

I'm helping design major features of Bizinc 2.0

Key Responsibilities &  Design Methodology

As an intern, I am collaborating with fellow designers, developers, and mentors to ensure smooth design-to-development transitions. I create sketches and wireframes to enhance the user interface and experience. I am also learning to develop interactive prototypes on Figma and conduct usability tests for insights to improve designs.

Our design process follows a standard user-centered approach, starting with market research and data analysis. We brainstorm ideas, create sketches, and develop low-fidelity wireframes that evolve into high-fidelity designs in Figma. Usability testing helps us refine the designs before gathering user feedback.

I have gained valuable skills and tools that I will carry forward in my design career.

Insights and Reflections

Transitioning from Adobe (as a graphic designer) to Figma (as a UI/UX designer) was seamless as I engaged in various projects. I managed multiple tasks and tight deadlines while contributing to real projects poised for launch. This experience enhanced my understanding of B2B and B2B2C design considerations and improved my communication and time management skills through collaboration with a global team.

This internship has been transformative, helping me recognize my strengths and weaknesses as a designer. I've learned to collaborate effectively by navigating diverse perspectives, enriching my design thinking. I'm grateful to work on real projects that will launch publicly and positively impact real people facing real problems.
